Dear Colleagues,

I am happy to inform you that the Faculty of Arts in Maribor organizes the Second Summer School of Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language Slovene at First Sight. The event is organized by the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures in the period from 28. 8. 2023 to 8. 9. 2023. The school is intended for foreign students of Slovenian language (at different levels of knowledge).

The program of the summer school includes lectures and conversations in Slovene (9:00–12:00), lectures/workshops in the field of Slovenian language and literature (13:30–15:00) and afternoon activities (e.g. Slovene film watching, museums, galleries and libraries, music and literary evenings, round tables, tours of Maribor and its surroundings and a full-day excursion). The organizer covers the costs of language lessons, accommodation with breakfast and lunch. The program will be published in July.
